Just playing

I've just been playing about with QuidCompare's Price Comparisons, just to see what I got.

As we constantly try to improve it, results change and I thought I'd post a few, just for personal amusement.

Radiohead - OK Computer CD, we get exactly what we are expecting. 3 results, all for the CD OK Computer by Radiohead. We find PowerPlayDirect.com for £5.99, CD WOW for £6.99 and Choices UK for £8.49. Each one gives roughly the same amount of Cash Back so by running a Price Comparison, we can save £2.50. Which is nice.

We get the same 3 results in the same order as above, but with one addition: Radiohead: OK Computer from Musicroom.com "The songs from the seminal album transcribed in standard and guitar tab notation, complete with lyrics and chord boxes". This appears last as it costs £14.95

Now, lets remove the album name and just search for Radiohead CDs. What we get is quite an astonishing page of 50 CDs. Some albums, but mostly CD singles and some rareties like Com Lag 2+2=5 2004 Japanese import CD album and the Australian CD of Karma Police 1997

The highest price is of a Radiohead CD on QuidCompare is £295 (although there's 10% off through April) from EIL.com for a very special Autographed Radiohead Drill EP1992 UK CD version
Wierdly though, they're not ordered by price. I'll have to look into that.

Last we just try to compare prices on Radiohead. Regardless of what category the product falls under, we want to see it. There's the potential to end up with the mother of all Radiohead pages. Everything the discerning Radiohead fan could dream of.

However the reality is alittle..................... well, a little page!
We only get 2 results, an OK Computer DVD and a Kid A CD!

So a DVD has been thrown into the mix eh? Well, lets see what happens when we try Radiohead OK Computer DVD.
We get pretty much every DVD featuring Radiohead. From a documentary about Ok Computer to Live at the Astoria. If we weren't limiting results to a maximum 50, I'm sure these would have appeared in the generic Radiohead Price Comparison.

You may be bored reading through this little test I'm doing late at night (early in the morning), but I'm in my element! So sad.

Anyway, what I'm trying to acheive is "The Mother of all Radiohead pages". Not just for Radiohead, it could be the Beatles, or flip flops, or mens watches or teddy bears, I'm trying to create pages that give you everything you could want.

If anyone would like to find more results and post about them, comments are open. Ifsomeone were to find "The Mother of all ******* pages", I could figure out whats missing from my Radiohead page and maybe improve the entire price comparison results . It's an ongoing effort, as I'm sure you can appreciate!
